The film was shot in the Republics of Altai, Tuva, Khakassia, and Yakutia. Among the film's main themes are winter and family. How the harsh and monumental winters of Tuva, Yakutia, and Altai strengthen their people. The short stories tell family stories and bear the symbolic titles "Ada" (Father), "Ene" (Mother), and "Kyys" (Daughter). They remind us of our roots and teach us to see simple human stories as reflections of a greater shared destiny.
